MY STORY

I started as an immigrant, single mum at 19.

If I can change my life, you can absolutely change yours.

Hey, I'm Linh.

Founder of Outsourcing Angel. Author of 360° Success. Public speaker. Mum of three. Entrepreneur of nearly fifteen years.

But before any of that, I was a nine-year-old on a plane from Vietnam, landing in Australia with a family searching for a better life.

This is the short version of how I got from there to here.

WHERE IT STARTED

Life as a migrant wasn't easy. Like most families, we did whatever it took to survive.

I became a child labourer at ten—helping my parents with their home-based sewing business.

My parents worked around the clock. I knew they did it out of love and sacrifice. But growing up, what I felt most was their absence.

I struggled to fit in. I rebelled and for a while, I was completely lost.

19, AND A SINGLE MUM

At 19, I became a single mum. That was the moment everything changed.

Suddenly, life wasn't just about me. I had someone depending on me, and I knew I had to change the trajectory of my life for my son's future.

I went back to university. Got my degree. Found a "proper" corporate job.

But it didn't take long to realise the 9-to-5 wasn't built for mums like me. I couldn't shake the feeling that repetitive work and time away from my son didn't align with what truly mattered to me.

I was always choosing between career and family—and losing on both fronts. There was no flexibility and no time freedom.

THE BREAKTHROUGH

So in my 20s I took a leap of faith and bid farewell to my day job, using my last $5,000 to start a nail polish business. I was chasing flexibility.

But I wore every hat. I worked around the clock. I barely made progress. Although the nail polish business wasn't my passion, I didn't give up on entrepreneurship. I sold the venture and moved on to build a successful marketing agency in 2011 called Red & Black Solutions.

Then one decision changed everything: I discovered outsourcing.

So I hired my first offshore team member. It was like a light bulb went off. For the first time, I felt the weight lift.

That single hire is the seed from which Outsourcing Angel grew—I changed my business model to an outsourcing agency and my company now helps entrepreneurs build virtual teams across Australia, the US, Canada, the UK, and beyond.

As business owners, it's important to free yourself up from your business and have a lifestyle for yourself.

WHAT I COULDN'T UNSEE

Building Outsourcing Angel taught me something I didn't expect.

I was helping entrepreneurs free up to 40 hours of their time every week—but most of them weren't using that time to live better. They were just filling it back up with more work.

They keep saying: "Once I hire the right person…" "Once we move into the new factory…" That time never came.

I started seeing it everywhere—founders chasing that one day. Always waiting for life to slow down until they could truly enjoy what they had built.

That forced me to look at myself. I, too, had been doing it the wrong way. Working non-stop. Running on stress. Feeling empty. Eventually, it caught up with me as anxiety. The truth I had to learn the hard way is that someday may never come.

That was my wake-up call.

I hired a life coach who helped me slow down and redefine what success actually meant. It made me realise I'd been building for the outside world — for approval, for status, for a finish line that kept moving.

Once I reconnected with what I actually valued — my family, my health, my joy — I rebuilt my business and my life from the inside out.

In that rebuilding, one truth became clear: while there are endless resources on how to design and grow a business, almost no one teaches you how to design your life.

So I started writing one. That became the 360° Success Framework.

WHERE I AM NOW

Today, I live with intention.

A business I can run from anywhere. A thirteen-year marriage that's still passionate. Three healthy kids. Time for friends. Sound health.

I don't share that to boast. I share it because so many founders are told this kind of life has to come later—after the next milestone, after the kids are older, after things settle down.

I'm proof it doesn't have to be that way. You can build the business and live the life. At the same time.

That's the message I poured into 360° Success. I'm not interested in just inspiring people anymore — I want to give them the playbook on how to design their best life.

360° Success is that playbook. The full framework, the stories behind it, and the practical tools to start applying it this week.

Read the book

We've all seen how quickly life can change. People with big dreams, successful businesses, and so much still ahead of them can be gone far too soon.

It's a reminder that time isn't guaranteed.

That's one of the reasons this work matters so deeply to me.

I don't want entrepreneurs to spend their whole lives waiting for "someday" to finally slow down and feel meaningful.

I want people to create success they can actually experience now—while they still have the time, energy, and people around them to enjoy it.

You don't need to hustle harder. You can design your freedom now. And you absolutely don't have to choose between a thriving business and a meaningful life.

You can have both.

If any part of my story sounds like yours, the next chapter is yours to write — and there are a few ways I can help you start.
